Job Description

The Opportunity

We are currently looking to add a Senior Hydrogeologist/Geologist/Engineer to support our Supply & Hydrogeology team in Texas, officed out of one of our locations in  Austin, Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio. Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced hydrogeology professional and/or subsurface specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level professional passionate about water supply development, produced water injection, and carbon sequestration. Our team continues to expand in response to increasing client demand for innovative solutions to challenges such as carbon sequestration, injection wells, wellfield development, aging wellfield infrastructure, rehabilitation, operations, regulatory compliance, aquifer storage and recovery systems, and alternative water supply strategies.

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills and expertise in subsurface analysis and reservoir engineering, with preferred capabilities in carbon sequestration, groundwater supply issues including scarcity, drought resilience, depletion, saltwater intrusion, brackish groundwater development and treatment, brine management, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Our team also supports clients focused on civil engineering applications, as well as traditional and alternative energy solutions.
