Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year A bit about us: A growing, multi-location specialty healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and optimize its end-to-end revenue cycle operations. This position will oversee billing, coding, insurance follow-up, denials, appeals and collections while managing a team and ensuring consistent cash flow across the organization. Join a growing healthcare organization with an expanding network of specialty practices Make a measurable impact on revenue-cycle performance, operational efficiency and patient service Work closely with senior revenue-cycle leadership Lead, mentor and develop an established revenue-cycle team Paid time off Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) HSA, FSA and dependent-care spending accounts Commuter benefits for parking and public transportation Voluntary life and AD&D insurance Short-term disability, accident and critical-illness coverage Job Details What You’ll Do Manage the complete revenue cycle, including insurance verification, coding, claim submission, payment follow-up, appeals and collections Maximize revenue, improve cash flow and support timely, accurate billing Monitor performance indicators such as days in accounts receivable, collection rates, denial rates and coding accuracy Analyze denials and rejections, identify recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive strategies Establish workflows, escalation procedures and accountability standards for the revenue-cycle team Supervise, train, coach and evaluate employees to improve productivity and accuracy Serve as an escalation point for billing concerns and inquiries from patients, providers and practice personnel Maintain payer portals and help resolve complex reimbursement issues Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and other applicable billing regulations Develop and maintain internal policies supporting billing accuracy and regulatory compliance Use EHR and practice-management platforms to manage workflows, reporting and performance Partner with senior leadership on process-improvement initiatives and special projects What We’re Looking For At least five years of healthcare revenue-cycle, medical billing or physician-practice experience Previous supervisory or people-management experience Strong understanding of insurance procedures, reimbursement requirements and payer regulations Experience managing billing, coding, claims, denials, appeals and collections Knowledge of medical terminology and coding Experience with EHR, practice-management and medical-billing systems Strong Excel, reporting and data-analysis skills Ability to identify performance trends and translate data into corrective action Excellent leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing, fast-paced healthcare environment Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, healthcare administration or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a multi-location physician-practice organization Modernizing Medicine experience Specialty medical billing experience Credentialing or managed-care contracting exposure Interested in hearing more?
