Full job description A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week. Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist Hours Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm local time zone + occasional weekends Training schedule – 5 weeks starting 11/09/2026, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CT Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is between $53.00 an hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist Responsibilities Review and process medication prior authorization requests based on clinical criteria, formulary guidelines, and plan benefits. Evaluate patient records, diagnoses, medications, labs, and previous treatment history. Approve, deny, or escalate requests requiring additional clinical review. Communicate with providers to obtain clinical information and clarify treatment plans. Document clinical decisions accurately while meeting quality, productivity, and turnaround-time standards. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and applicable utilization-management guidelines.
