Job Summary (List Format) Oracle OFSC B2B Enhancements Consultant
- Analyze business requirements and enhancement requests related to OFS B2B applications/processes.
- Perform requirement analysis, solution design, development, configuration, and implementation of enhancements.
- Understand existing application functionality, interfaces, data flows, and customizations prior to implementing changes.
- Develop and modify PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries as required.
- Support enhancements to existing screens, reports, interfaces, batch processes, and integrations.
- Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and identify dependencies with upstream and downstream applications.
- Troubleshoot application, data, interface, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate with functional teams, business users, infrastructure teams, and other application teams for implementation activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, solution documents, deployment instructions, and other project documentation.
- Perform unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist business teams during user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support defect resolution, deployment, post-production validation, and stabilization activities.
- Ensure enhancements comply with established coding, security, performance, and change management standards.
- Work onsite at client office 3 days per week as required.
- Provide production support and resolve issues related to Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) B2B applications.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with OFS/OFS B2B applications or related Oracle Financial Services solutions.
- Proficient in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience in application enhancements, customization, and production support.
- Experience with Oracle packages, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of batch processing, interfaces, file-based integrations, and data-processing workflows.
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning of SQL/PLSQL components.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with application deployment and release management processes.
- Experience in SIT, UAT, defect management, and production support.
