Medical Device Assembler, R&D - Irvine

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Medical Device Assembler, R&D to work with a leading company in the medical device sector in Irvine. This role is based within the Research and Development department, focusing on the assembly and packaging of specialized medical products under the guidance of the line lead and supervisor.

Shift Patterns

• Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
• Must be flexible to work overtime

Pay Rates

• 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• Do you have 1 to 2 years experience as a Medical Device Assembler?
• Are you able to do small part assembly work using a microscope?
• Are you comfortable performing basic math calculations required for manufacturing or assembly tasks?
• Have you worked in a clean room environment?

Desirable Requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and how it functions
• Solder and gluing experience of small parts under a microscope
• Manufacturing parts for R&D
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended period of time

Role for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• Assemble and package medical device products following written and verbal instructions
• Document production processes on build records and complete quality control forms
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with technicians and engineers
• Assist in the manufacturing of prototypes for R&D projects
• Practice continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing and value stream mapping

Location: Irvine. This position is located in a professional manufacturing environment.
