Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical background & a background in clean room environments!LocationBedford, MAScheduleSunday- Thursday 10pm-6:30amPay Rate$25/hrPosition OverviewSeeking a Clean Room Assembler with strong mechanical inspection experience to inspect incoming materials and products for quality and conformance to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring equipment, and working with inspection documentation. ASQ certification and SAP experience are preferred.KeyResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials, components, and products for quality and conformance to specifications.Use fixed, preset, and precision measuring instruments to perform inspections.Read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.Verify materials meet established quality, tolerance, and performance requirements.Inspect incoming materials and chemicals and document results.Enter inspection data and disposition materials in SAP.Apply barcodes to incoming materials and use barcode scanners.Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and inspection area.Support special inspection assignments and other duties as directed.RequirementsPrevious mechanical inspection or quality inspection experience.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.Ability to accurately document inspection results and material dispositions.Willingness to develop knowledge of GD&T, FDA/GMP, and SOPs.Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:High School degree or equivalent preferred.0-2 years applicable experience in a manufacturing using a microscope or equivalent environment preferred. Equivalent is understood as having performed similar tasks, utilized similar tools and equipment, and worked towards defined quality and productivity standards. Other industry experience and transferable skills/experience may be considered.Skills & Capabilities:Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal procedures.Travel Requirements:N/AWork Environment (US only):The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May occasionally have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment will vary but is usually moderate. This position is very active and requires varying levels of mobility.
