Job Description

Investment casting operator position involving assembly, inspection, and operation of casting equipment and machinery. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while working with automated systems and hand tools in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product components and prepare materials using wax molds, soldering equipment, and automated machinery
• Inspect finished products and components for defects; monitor quality and implement corrective actions
• Operate equipment within established procedures and department standards with moderate supervision
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance on machines; document operations and production quantities
• Communicate within work cell and report special concerns to department supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum six months foundry experience in cutoff, snag, or forming roles
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
• Proficiency with thread gauges and basic mathematical calculations
• Prior inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
